On January 20, 2006, the First Session of the Russian Part to the Russian-Algerian Business Council was conducted in the RF CCI, chaired by the President of the RF CCI, Ye.Primakov, with the participation of President of the Russian Part to the RABC, President of SISTEMA, V.P. Yevtushenkov. The session was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Algerian Democratic Peoples Republic to the Russian Federation , Amar Abba, Deputy Director of the Department for the Middle East and Northern Africa at the Russian Federation Foreign Ministry, A.V. Polyakov, as well as executives of leading Russian companies members of the Russian part to the Russian-Algerian Business Council which is to be formally established in March 2006.
