On January 30 in the residence of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Moscow took place the meeting of representatives of the Russian business with the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Russia Mohammed El-Badri. The meeting was a preparatory activity before a Week of the Russian business in Egypt which will pass from March 12 to March 19, 2015.
The meeting was attended by a general secretary of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt Alaa Izz, and also representatives more than 40 Russian companies regarding Egypt as the perspective market.

A.Izz made a presentation of the Economic Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh (13-15 March), describing the financial possibilities of Egypt, on the prospects offered by this event to potential partners and investors, as well as the existing large-scale projects, such as development of the Suez canal area and the construction of a logistics hub for agricultural production in Damietta.
Participants learned that the Egyptian government has allocated 50 billion. US dollars on the development of infrastructure, namely the construction and equipping of new ports, expansion and deepening of the Suez Canal, the construction of terminals for shipment of coal, railways, highways, shipbuilding, logistics, construction of transport hubs , software development, the production of pumps for water supply and sanitation, tractors, trains, trams, reconstruction and re-equipment of six airports.
The event will be attended by many of the ruling elite of the Middle East countries and other countries of the world, will open by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi.
