The Russian Export Center JSC in association with a partnership network promote cooperation with a series of African countries

The negotiations were held within the framework of the formal business-mission to the Republic of Djibouti. Georgy Gvilava, Deputy CEO of "Arabia-EXPO", represented the Russian side.

The participants discussed the potential supply of provisions (corn, sunflower oil, flour, water, and other consumer products), projects concerning medical equipment and provision of the housing and communal services, as well as the cooperation in the field of consumer goods and textile industry. According to the negotiating parties, total volume of transactions is expected to pass the $200 mln mark.

Georgy Gvilava, Deputy CEO of "Arabia-EXPO": «Negotiations with the government authority representatives and entrepreneurs were conducted within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Djibouti. All parties engaged showed keen interest in the collaboration, the nutrition sector was of special interest. In particular, President of the Assembly pointed out that during the Russia-Africa Forum, food quality in Russia was noted and he would want to have the goods represented on the local market. It stands to mention that the success of the undertaking was achieved with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in Russia».
