During business trip to Saudi Arabia and the UAE Tatiana Gvilava, Director of the Russian-Arab Business Council, President of the All-Russian Nonprofit Organization “Businesswomen”, held a number of high-level meetings and visited Gulfood 2020, known as the world's largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition, on February 10-18, 2020.
The main purpose of the visit to Saudi Arabia is further strengthening of trade, economic, and industrial cooperation between two countries in the area of agricultural sector, production, and healthcare.
The following officials participated in the meetings during the visit:
- Mr. Majed Khamid Al Khamis, Committee Chairman on Agricultural Sector and Food Safety, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- Mr. Ali Alomeiry, Vice-President of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, also known simply as MODON;
- Mr. Khaled Bin Mohammed Al Shaibany, Deputy Health Minister;
- Mr. Riyad Kainan Alkhamdi, Director of State Centre for Control and Prevention of Disease.
Tatiana Gvilava, Director of the Russian-Arab Business Council, President of the All-Russian Nonprofit Organization “Businesswomen”, participated in the meeting with Ibrahim Al-Omar, Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, and Sergey Kozlov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on procedure for obtaining business license for Russian companies, as well as establishing IT platform of the Russian-Arab Business Council.
