The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia met with the Minister of Energy and Industry of the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada. During the meeting Denis Manturov noted that over the past two years, the volume of Russian-Qatar trade grew by 117% and amounted to 73.3 million dollars.
In addition, the growth of the tourist flow from Russia significantly increased, which by the results of 2017 increased by 33.2%. The Minister noted that in the total amount about 87 thousand Russian tourists visited Qatar. Also discussed were issues of carrying out work within the framework of the joint Russian-Qatari commission for trade, economic and technical cooperation.
"The results of it third meeting confirmed the mutual desire to strengthen and deepen relations between our countries," Denis Manturov stressed.
