This is especially important in the light of the responsible role that our countries play in the regional and international arena, especially in the energy sector," the head of the energy department said.

According to the Russian Minister, OPEC + participants need to think about the development of further cooperation mechanisms.

"Russia is interested in the fact that the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee, which has proved its effectiveness, continued its work. We are ready to discuss the expansion of its functionality in the part of exchanging information on the state of the oil markets.
