Egypt has extended the licenses of Russian enterprises for the supply of livestock products

The Veterinary Quarantine Directorate of the General Organization of the Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Arab Republic of Egypt confirmed the extension of the licenses of Russian enterprises for the production of meat products and offal, previously certified for supplies to Egypt, until the end of July 2021 without their inspection.

After this period, and if the epidemiological situation in the world remains unstable, the Egyptian side will make a decision on the extension of the export license to Russian manufacturers on an individual basis.

Businesses are recommended to deliver their products before the deadline to enhance the likelihood of future license renewals.

Also, foreign trade participants interested in the supply in the near future need to send information to the Rosselkhoznadzor. The information will be transferred to the competent authorities of Egypt in order to obtain documentary evidence of the renewal of the export license.
