On September 27, Baku hosted the 9th Azerbaijan - Russian Interregional Forum aimed at expanding business cooperation between the regions of the two countries. The event became a platform for joint work of representatives of relevant ministries, representatives of the presidential administration of Russia and Azerbaijan, heads of regions of both countries, as well as representatives of government authorities, business circles, non-governmental organizations, experts and journalists.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin officially opened the 9th Azerbaijan - Russian Interregional Forum.
The plenary session was chaired by Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin.
The plenary meeting of the forum was also attended by Chairman of the Russian-Azerbaijani Business Council Alexey Repik, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Russian Business Council Samad Gurbanov, as well as the head of the executive power of the Republic of Azerbaijan and heads of Russian regions.
The director of the RABC took part in the plenary session where she made a report on the results of the roundtable agreements: "Prospects for cooperation in the development of women's entrepreneurship."
Also, on the fields of the forum, Tatiana Gvilava held a series of meetings with the heads of the regions, at which issues concerning the participation of the regions in the upcoming 12th session of the RABC and the 4th International Exhibition "ARABIA - EXPO 2019" were discussed.
