During the state visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Saudi Arabia Russian-Saudi Investment Forum was launched with the support of Russian Direct Investment Fund, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), and Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships (SCISP) on October 13, 2019. Over 200 representatives of the largest Russian and Saudi Arabian companies participated.
Vladimir Evtushenkov, Chairman of the Board of Sistema PJSFC Board of Directors, Chairman the Russian-Arab Business Council, spoke at the plenary session, entitled “Broadening the Saudi-Russian Investment Landscape”. In the address he revealed activities of the Russian-Saudi Business Council and pointed out that Sistema PJSFC is considering a number of joint projects with Saudi Arabia in the area of agriculture, high-tech, pulp and papermaking industry, and infrastructure.
On the occasion of the state visit of the President Vladimir Putin and holding of Russian-Saudi Investment Forum the Russian-Arab Business Council released the journal about milestones of 15 years’ activity of the Council, as well as the special edition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian-Saudi Business Council.
